Tree care is important for a number of reasons. Trees provide a variety of benefits to people and the environment, including:
For these reasons, it is important to care for trees properly, including watering, pruning, and protecting them from pests and diseases.
Getting a professional Arborist to look at your tree could save it, and save you money at the same time.
An essential part of nature is having an abundance of healthy trees. However, there are times when they can be a hazard to you, your family or your home. If your tree is dead or dying, or is in a dangerous location, tree removal may be the best option.
Tree removal is not complete until the remaining trunk is removed. This process is called stump grinding. Tree removal and stump grinding often combine to completely remove unsightly stumps which are an eyesore and can be a hazard to you and your family.
There are two main reasons why you might remove a tree from your property:
Here's a few other reason you might not have thought of:
the tree may just be too big for the property
the tree may interfere with structures and overhead service lines or roots may encroach on sewage lines, walks and foundations.
the tree may impede important safety or road signage.
removal of some trees may improve conditions of other trees and shrubs.
the tree may be ruining the lawn and dropping debris on surrounding valuables.
a tree’s yearly maintenance costs outweigh the costs of removal and starting over with a smaller one.
security concerns: a tree may impede a line of sight and promote illegal activities.
a tree may block too much sunlight.
We first assess your site for the safest and fastest way for the tree to be removed.
In some cases we will fell the tree outright, and in others it is brought down in pieces by hand.
The tree is then processed as you request, usually by chipping and removing the branches from the site, stacking it as firewood, or thoroughly cleaning up the site so that no evidence a tree was even there. We can leave the stump and firewood, if requested. Most jobs are usually completed within a day, if the tree is extra large it may require 2 days.
The Wood Mulch from the branch chipping can be left onsite at no extra charge.
We will clean any eaves or troughs near the tree for free, if they contain debris from the tree.
If the firewood is to be removed, we
will remove it within 3 days from the day of completion, at no extra charge.
